The Coffee Ritual

Season 1 Episode 4: I have a little coffee ritual I do to start my day and give it a little bit more meaning and intention.

Rituals are called rituals because you repeat them and they have meaning and power to them. I talk about why you should adopt one for yourself and what your ritual should have in order to make it powerful and meaningful for your day.

Visual Accountability

Season 1 Episode 3: We all set goals but we don’t all achieve them. So I came up with a solution that actually seems to work for me.

We all set goals, but we don’t all achieve them. The problem is most of us lack an accountability system, or if we do have one, it’s out of sight. You know what they say about that right?

Out of sight, out of mind.

So I set about creating a solution for that problem…and it actually works. REALLY well.

Ethical Business

Season 1 Episode 2: We can’t expect others to run ethical businesses if we don’t run ethical businesses ourselves.

We can’t expect others to run ethical businesses if we don’t run ethical businesses ourselves. If we want others to behave fairly and ethically, then we should start doing the same. Sometimes that means evaluating what’s the status quo against your definition of ethical, and seeing if it can hold up.

In my case..it kind of didn’t.

Medium Viable Projects

Season 1 Episode 1: For those of us who have perfectionist tendencies, trying to create a minimum viable product (or project) can bring on way more stress and stop us from actually releasing our work into the world. I have a compromise: the medium viable project.

For those of us who have perfectionist tendencies, trying to create a minimum viable product (or project) can bring on way more stress and stop us from actually releasing our work into the world. I have a compromise: the medium viable project. A project that requires more than the bare minimum before you release it, carries the feel and aesthetic you’d want a polished product to have, without actually being the finished or polished product.

I also share a little bit about how what’s planned for this first season of Aurooba Makes!
